Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all pets in our care, dogs must be current on their required vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be emailed to SilverPoodleGroomCo@gmail.com or texted to 704-769-0153 prior to your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service if vaccination records cannot be provided.
Senior Pet Disclaimer
The health, comfort, and safety of your pet are always our top priority. Senior pets, puppies, and pets with medical conditions may require special accommodations during the grooming process.
While every precaution is taken to provide a safe and comfortable experience, grooming can be physically and emotionally stressful for some pets. By scheduling an appointment, owners acknowledge that senior pets and pets with pre-existing health conditions may be at a higher risk for injury, illness, or complications during grooming due to age or underlying medical concerns.
Silver Poodle Grooming Co. will always act in the best interest of your pet and may modify, shorten, or discontinue services if doing so is necessary for their safety and well-being.
Matting Policy
We do our best to keep every pup looking and feeling their best. Matted coats can be uncomfortable and may cause skin irritation, bruising, or other health concerns.
We will attempt to safely brush out minor matting when tolerated by your dog. Dematting fees may be applied after 10 minutes of additional brushing time. Please note that dematting fees may still apply even if the coat ultimately needs to be shaved due to the severity of the matting.
For heavily matted pets, shaving may be the safest and most humane option. The comfort and safety of your dog will always take priority over maintaining coat length.
Late Arrival & Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to have services adjusted or shortened in order to stay on schedule.
Clients arriving more than 25 minutes late will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
Clients who miss three appointments without notice will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the estimated grooming cost before future appointments can be scheduled.
Flea & Tick Policy
If fleas or ticks are discovered during your pet's grooming appointment, additional charges may apply for treatment and sanitation procedures.
A flea shampoo fee of $10–$30 will be added depending on the size of your pet and the amount of product required. Additional cleaning and sanitation measures may be necessary to help prevent the spread of parasites within the salon.
Clients will be notified if fleas or ticks are found during their pet's appointment.
